Ceramics Basics Course for handbuilding

During the course, you will get acquainted with the basics of ceramics using hand-building techniques. Pinching, coiling, and slab techniques will become familiar, and you will learn the basics of glazing. This course is an excellent first step into the world of ceramics! In this course, you will have the opportunity to make, for example, 2-4 cereal bowls, 2-4 cups, or a vase.

Detailed description

1. class 26.2.2026 Intro to the course, health and safety in ceramics, ideas and inspiration to objects doable in this course, let us start making! Techniques: pinching, coiling, slabs and joining clay pieces

2. class 5.3.2026 Building objects, decorating/ texturing, polishing

3. class 12.3.2026 Glazing the objects

Please note that the rescheduling or cancellation of this class needs to be done 2 weeks prior to it. We are unable to reschedule after that. In this case you can transfer your place to a friend, just let us know about the name change.
