Try Wheel Throwing

Take a peek into the wonderful world of wheel throwing. Have you dreamed of trying it out? Does the movie "Ghost" linger in your mind? Do your skills need refreshing? Have you already worked with ceramics by hand but wish to try wheel throwing? Wheel throwing is challenging but fun. In this course, you'll get a chance to test wheel throwing. The finished pieces will be glazed and fired by Clayhem, and you will be informed by email when they are ready for pickup. 

A 3x 3h course for wheel throwing technique

1 st class: 2nd March: wheel throwing and it's basics: prepping the clay, centering and giving form for your piece on the wheel

2nd class: 9th March: throwing more pieces, also trimming/ turning the pieces from last class 

3rd class: 16th March: glazing your bisque fired pieces and learning how to coat pieces with different dip and brush glazes. Also you learn the safety instructions on glazing and pottery work.

The course is limited to 8 participants 

Finished course works can be collected 3-4 weeks after the course, you will get a notification via email
Please pick up your finished works within four weeks of the return date

Dates of this course are 2nd March, 9th March, 16th March at  5 PM to 8 PM

The course fee is €250 which includes instruction, clays, glazes, coffee and tea, and VAT 25,5,%.

Please note that the rescheduling or cancellation of this class needs to be done 2 weeks prior to it. We are unable to reschedule after that. In this case you can transfer your place to a friend, just let us know about the name change.
