Try Ceramics (for beginners)

Come and relax with clay work before New Years! During the evening, you will be introduced to the basics of ceramics using hand-building techniques. Pinching, coiling, and slab techniques will become familiar, and you can decorate your work with engobe colors. This evening is an excellent first step into the world of ceramics!

The course is limited to 18 participants 

Clayhem will glaze and fire the pieces after the course, making them dishwasher/microwave safe 

Finished course works can be collected 4 weeks after the course.

Please pick up your finished works within four weeks of the email announcing the pieces are ready for pick up.

Course Content:

Course introduction, concept and design of the piece, starting and finishing the work, techniques used: pinching, coil technique, slab technique, plaster molds, slip colours, 1 x 3h session

The course fee is €98, which includes instruction, clays, glazes, coffee and tea, and VAT 25,5%.

Please note that the rescheduling or cancellation of this class needs to be done 2 weeks prior to it. We are unable to reschedule after that. In this case you can transfer your place to a friend, just let us know about the name change.
