Bowls and Plates Course

In this course, lanters bowls and plates are made using hump molds. The hump mold helps in achieving a regular and symmetrical shape for the items. The bowls will be decorated both when wet and after bisque firing by glazing.

In this course we make serving dishes and plates with hump molds. Hump molds are used as a support to form a symmetrical and regular shape in clay work. We will also give texture to the objects both when wet and after the bisque firing by glazing our work.

1. class: forming the objects (plates/lantern/ serving dishes)

2. class: glaze work with dip and brush glazes
